- Fully and completely fill out all the sections of application form and submit it. An application is required to register for all courses.
- Await notification. All correspondence will be through e-mail if you give an e-mail address in your application. Due to the large volume of applications, it may take up to two weeks before receiving notification.

The online application form encrypts your information before it is sent from your computer to our application server. However, it may not be totally secure even though encryption is used. If you are concerned about the possibility of security risks of your confidential information while it is on the Internet, do not use this form and instead download an application. Print and complete it. Then please send the form to the course organizers. By faxing or posting your application form it may delay the registration process by one to two weeks.

All courses are run solely on a donation basis. All expenses are met by donations from those who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the same opportunity. Neither the Teacher nor the assistant teachers receive remuneration; they and those who serve the courses volunteer their time. Thus Vipassana is offered free from commercialisation.
Old students are those who have completed a 10-day Vipassana Meditation course with S.N. Goenka or his Assistant Teachers. Old students have the opportunity to provide Dhamma Service at the courses listed.
ද්වි භාෂා පාඨමාලා Bilingual courses මෙම පාඨමාලාවල දී ඉගැන්වීම කරනු ලබන්නේ භාෂා දෙකකිනි. රාත්‍රි ධම්ම දේශනාවන් වෙන් වෙන්ව අසන්නට ලැබේ.
පාඨමාලා මධ්‍යස්ථානවලදී සහ මධ්‍යස්ථාන නොවන ස්ථානවල දී පවත්වනු ලැබේ. භාවනා මධ්‍යස්ථාන යනු අවුරුද්දක් පාසා නිරන්තරයෙන් පාඨමාලා පවත්වනු ලබන ඒ සඳහා අවශ්‍ය පහසුකම් සළසා ඇති ස්ථාන වේ. Before meditation centers were established in this tradition, all courses were held at temporary sites, such as campgrounds, religious retreat centers, churches and the like. Today, in regions where centers have not yet been established by local students of Vipassana who live in the area, 10 Day meditation courses are held at non-center course sites.
10-දින පාඨමාලා විපස්සනා භාවනා ක්‍රමය දවසින් දවස හඳුන්වා දෙන පාඨමාලාවකි. පස්වරු 2- 4 කාලය තුළ ලියාපදිංචි කිරීම සහ පාඨමාලා පූර්ව දේශනයකින් පාඨමාලාව පටන් ගෙන දින 10 ක් පුරා භාවනා කිරීමෙන් පසු 11 වන දින උදෑසන 7.30 ට අවසන් වෙයි.

Old Student Short Courses (1-3 days) are for any student who has completed the 10-day course with S.N. Goenka and his assistant teachers. All old students are welcome to apply to attend these courses, including those where it has been some time since their last course.
විශේෂ පාඨමාලා සඳහා අවශ්‍ය සුදුසුකම්
සතිපට්ඨාන පාඨමාලා වලදී ද අනුගමනය කරනු ලබන්නේ 10-දින පාඨමාලා වල කාලසටහන සහ විනය නීතිමාලාවමය. වෙනසකට ඇත්තේ සන්ධ්‍යා කාලයේ සතිපට්ඨාන සූත්‍රය විග්‍රහ කරමින් ධර්ම දේශනාව පැවැත්වීමයි. විපස්සනා භාවනා ක්‍රමය ක්‍රමානුකූලව මෙම සූත්‍රයෙහි උගන්වනු ලැබේ.මෙම පාඨමාලාවලට සහභාගි විය හැකි වන්නේ 10-දින පාඨමාලා තුනක් සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇති, ( කර ඇති ධම්මසේවා මෙයට අඩංගු නැත.) අවසාන 10-දින පාඨමාලාවෙන් පසුව වෙනත් භාවනා ක්‍රමයක් අනුගමනය නොකළ, වසරක් පුරා මෙම විපස්සනා භාවනා ක්‍රමය දිගටම අනුගමනය කළ, දිනපතා භාවනා කිරීම පවත්වා ගෙන යන, එමෙන්ම , මෙම පාඨමාලාව සඳහා ඉල්ලුම් කළ දිනයේ සිට දෛනික ජීවිතයේ දී පන්සිල් ආරක්ෂා කිරීම ගැනත්, මෙම භාවනාව ගැනත් දැඩි උනන්දුවක් දක්වන පැරණි සිසුන් සඳහා පමණි.
සේවා කාලය - වැඩ කාලය වෙන් කර ඇත්තේ මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ නඩත්තු කටයුතු,ඉදිකිරීම්, ගෘහ සහ උද්‍යාන ව්‍යාපෘති සඳහාය. සියළුම පැරණි සිසුන්ට මේවාට සහභාගි වීමට ඇරයුම් කෙරේ. දෛනික කාලසටහනට සමූහ භාවනා තුනක් සහ උදේ සවස සේවා කටයුතු අඩංගු වේ. සමහර සන්ධ්‍යාවන්හි ගොඑන්කා තුමා විසින් පැරණි සිසුන්ට කරන ලද විශේෂ දේශනාවලට සවන් දීමට සවන් දීමට හැකි වනු ඇත.

20-දින පාඨමාලාව විවෘතව තිබෙන්නේ මේ භාවනා ක්‍රමයට කැප වී සිටින, අවම වශයෙන් 10-දින පාඨමාලා පහකුත්, එක් සතිපට්ඨාන පාඨමාලාවකුත් සම්පූර්ණ කර ඇති , එමෙන්ම අවම වශයෙන් එක් 10-දින පාඨමාලාවක ධම්ම සේවය කර ඇති, අවම වශයෙන් දෙවසරක් පුරා භාවනා කිරීම නිති ලෙස පවත්වා ගෙන ආ දැඩි උනන්දුවක් දක්වන පැරණි සිසුන් සඳහා ය.
ගුරුතුමාගේ ස්වයං පාඨමාලාවලට සහභාගි විය හැකි වන්නේ ධර්මය ප්‍රචාරය කිරීමෙහි ලා වැදගත් භූමිකාවක් දරණ හෝ එසේ දරණු ඇතැයි සිතිය හැකි, මේ විපස්සනා භාවනා ක්‍රමය පමණක් අනුගමනය කරන , දිනපතා පැය දෙකක් භාවනා කිරීම කර ගෙන යන, ප්‍රාණඝාතයෙන්, කාමමිත්‍යාචාරයෙන්, මත්පැනින් සහ මත් ද්රව්‍යවලින් වැළකෙමින් අනිකුත් ශිලයන් ද හැකි පමණින් රැකීමට උත්සාහ කරන, භාවනාව ගැන උනන්දුවක් දක්වන පැරණි සිසුන් සඳහා පමණි. මේ සුදුසුකම් වල අවශ්‍යතාවයන් වසරින් වසර වෙනස් විය හැකි අතර ඇතුළත් කර ගැනීම ගොඑන්කා තුමාගේ අභිමතය අනුව වේ.
Applications must be submitted well in advance as processing may take some time. Students who speak neither English nor one of the other announced course languages may apply for the course, however acceptance into the course will depend on the availability of required course materials, suitable translators and permission of the teacher conducting the course.
